Dereham and District Access Group oriiginally produced the Access Guide to Access in Dereham in a printed form

This was soon out of date and a decision was made to, instead, produce an online version that could reflect change almost as soon as it happened.

To achieve this aim has required a large degree of automation in the way that data is collected and processed and without the support of Breckland District Council, Dereham Town Council, NCODP and a generous donation from Alan MacKim it would not have been financially possible.

The new electronic guide has been produced in memory of Alan MacKim, our long term Policy Officer who sadly passed away on 28th February 2013.

The printed version is not now generally available although there are copies still around.

Listed in both versions are all public access buildings and the degree of accessability of each i.e. if it has steps, how many etc

If you come across change that we have not seen or you wish to add comment to existing sites, please fill in the comments, any additional information will help other people.
